World Travel Bookshelf - India

So I have finished another page on World Travel Bookshelf.  I am stitching the India portion.

I thought it would be nice to highlight different sections of the page as there is so much detail!

Here is the Flower:

The Indian Lady:

The Elephant and carriage on top with the man standing next to it:

And now the completed page!

The Shelf so far:

So fun to stitch, especially when all the details come out!

Happy Stitching!

Ganesha Page 2 Finish!

So I have been working on Ganesha these past three weeks,  It was part of a challenge from a cross stitching group.  The challenge was to complete the page using cross country stitching.  Fortunately for me that's how I stitch anyway, so not a huge challenge for me!  I used page 2 in Ganesha for the challenge.

Here is what it will look like once completed:

And here are the first two pages completed:

And to show that I used cross country for this page I created a little collage

On to the next project!

QS Siberian Forest

I have been working on a finish these past few weeks and I finally have it to show you!!!!
Its an amazing chart that my husband really likes.  I wanted to finish it for him, so  I have been trying to work on it exclusively.  And here it is:

The charting is beautiful, thats what made me able to achieve the intensity in the eyes!  So glad I can cross this one off the list.  So Happy it came out so well!!!

World Travel Bookshelf 17840/193418

Hi Everyone!  This is my first post for the New Year.  I wanted to have something to show before I posted.  After spending so much time on Shore Line Village I took a break for a couple of weeks for Christmas vacation and thought about what I wanted to work on this year.
I decided that my Focus piece for the year would be
Ganesha

I made a small start on him, but hope to spend more time on him this year.
Another big start is World Travel Bookshelf by Aimee Stewart

I am trying to do something different with this one.   I am going to stitch each shelf by itself.  So I am starting with the first one.

And here is my progress on that, I just completed the first page.

And in between these two large projects I hope to work on some smaller ones!

Birthstone - QS Garnet

So before I continue with my Shore Line Village, I thought I would get started on a project that I have been wanting to get a move on for a very long time!  It is the Birthstone collection by Rachel Anderson.  It is the QS versions of all 12.  I have started with January - Garnet.

I started on 22Count and tried 1 over 1 and was not really happy with the coverage,

So I decided to start over and stitch it 2 over 1 on the 22 Count, and was much happier with  the coverage,

So that is where I have left it and now I am off to pick up Shore Line Village!
