IHSW September - Shore Line Village

So this past weekend was International Hermit and Stitch weekend. Is it just me or are these weekends coming sooner and sooner!  I had every intention of Hermitting myself away with my Shoreline, but unfortunetly life doesn't work that way.  I am sad to say that a close family friend passed away on Thursday, so my weekend was busy with spending time with his family and mine and remembering the good times.

So I decided to make my own IHSW, I postponed mine to Monday and Tuesday.  So that will explain why I am so late in posting my IHSW post!  As soon as things quieted down I pulled out my Shore Line Village.   I am diligently working away on this 7th page.  As I cross country I find that it may take a while for the picture to pull itself together.  I seem to be getting closer to my goal!
Before IHSW,
After IHSW,

(The colors aren't true in the second picture, I had to try to brighten it up, I will replace with a new picture tonight)
I am sorry for the less than perfect picture.  It is a little blurry, I promise the next one will be better!
The greenness is filling out nicely on the sides of the pathway, funnily enough I added more Dark Brown and Darker Brown, not green!  But they do help highlight the green that is there!

Until the Next Stitch!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss =(
Maybe you can find some strength in stitching, you have a hard time ahead of you.

But Shoeline Villga looks fine =)

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's always hard to lose someone close to you. On the bright side, your stitching is beautiful! You're making me want to break my vow and buy Shoreline Village.

It looks fabulous, Vani. It seems like you made a LOT of progress. Grats to you. Sorry to hear of your loss. It's never easy, even if it's expected. I will say a prayer for the family and friends.
