New Year New Stitching Goals

Happy New Year!!!!

My stitching New Year resolution is to stitch as much as I can and blog about it regularly!

I have a few projects in mind for this year, that I will be working on in a rotation.  Currently all of them are HAEDs, I might add a non-HAED, but undecided just yet.

I have a few goals that I have for my projects this year.

  • Complete at least a page on each of my current projects, which you can see their progress bars to the right.
  • Blog weekly on any progress made
  • Complete the 3 UFOs in my rotation - QS Christmas Presence and SK Sunny and SK Winter Wings.  They have been lying around for a long time!
  • Stitch every day even if its just one stitch

I am also part of so many stitching related groups on Facebook, who all have their own challenges, I found it hard to keep up. So this year I have just a couple of challenges I'm going to try and keep up with.

The first one is a WIPocalypse SAL.  Basically I will be working on some of my Wips, that have been slow going and try and make some progress on them.  I have to blog about my progress and submit my post to the group for viewing.  So consider this as my first post for the WIPocalypse SAL!  I will be working on in rotation :

  1. SK Winter Wings
  2. Ganesha
  3. World Travel Bookshelf 1
  4. QS Peridot
  5. SK Sunny
  6. QS Christmas Presence

The next one I have decided to join is in a Facebook group called Full Coverage Cross Stitch, I am going to take part in their challenge to stitch 2020 stitches every month.  You have to pick which project you would like to work on each month and complete 2020 stitches on that project for the month to be eligible for a prize at the end of the year! For January I picked SK Winter Wings, got around 650 stitches in yesterday!

And finally I will participate in some challenges in The Ultimate Cross Stitch Group.  They have different challenges every month to help us stay motivated.
This month is:
  • The Cupcake Conundrum - There are 11 sections to this challenge. So far we know that in the first section we have to stitch 300 stitches.  Got that done yesterday!
  • Winter Delight Cupcake - This is strictly just a show your progress challenge.
Here is what I have in my rotation so far, you can always see my progress to the right of this post in the easy to see progress bars for each project!

All of your projects are wonderful. I can't wait to see your progress. I am also apart of a lot of facebook groups but they really keep me stitching so we will see how it goes this year. Good Luck
